The Development Committee is responsible for the growth of the physical infrastructure and facilities within the church. The centrality and effectiveness of the committee can best be told through the history of the church.
The CCI Joy Family Church is located in Juja, adjacent to the Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology, Main Campus. Its located on a half-acre plot which the church acquired in 1994 from the CCI National Office. Recently, the church acquired an adjacent plot (3/4 acres) for the expansion of the School Project.
The Cathedral Project, was started in the year 2004 and the physical infrastructure was completed in the year 2012.Since the year 2013, Sunday services have been held in the new sanctuary.
Other church projects include the Joy Spring School, Transport and Child Development Center(CDC).
